These terms apply when you use the Taste Hunter app or the website tastehunter.app. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who we are

Taste Hunter is run by Ronan Kenupp, Belgium. You can reach us at [email protected].

Age and drinking responsibly

Taste Hunter is about alcoholic drinks and is only for adults of legal drinking age where they are (18+, 21+ in the USA). Please drink responsibly, never drink and drive or ride, and use public transport, a taxi or a sober driver when you have been drinking. The app can plan routes by car, but you are always responsible for whether you are fit to drive.

Free for hunters

The app is free for people who use it to plan hunts and log tastings. We earn money from breweries, wineries and booking partners, never from you.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile. We may close an account that is used to break these terms or the law, or to harm others.

Venue information

Opening hours, prices, tours, photos and other details come from public sources such as OpenStreetMap and Google, from the venues themselves, and from other users. We work to keep them correct, but they can be out of date or wrong. Check with the venue before you travel, especially opening hours and tour times. Taste Hunter is not responsible for a venue being closed, full or different from what the app shows.

Bookings and partners

When you book a table, tour or tasting, you book with the venue or with a booking partner such as Tiqets, Viator or GetYourGuide, under their own terms, prices and cancellation rules. Taste Hunter is not a party to that booking. We may earn a commission when you book through a link in the app, at no extra cost to you.

Routes

Routes and travel times are estimates. Follow road signs, local rules and your own judgement, and take care on foot and by bike.

What you add

Tastings, ratings, reviews, photos and drinks you send us stay yours. By adding them you allow us to use them to run and improve Taste Hunter, for example to show a drink's description or a venue's rating. Don't add anything that is unlawful, hurtful, misleading or that you don't have the right to share. We may remove such content.

Hunts with friends

When you share a hunt, everyone you invite can see it, and those who can edit can change its stops. Only share the invite link with people you trust.

Descriptions written by AI

Some drink descriptions are written automatically with AI from public information. They can contain mistakes. You can tap "Report a mistake" under any description and we will have it written again.

The app itself

We keep improving the app and may change, add or remove features. The app is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, Taste Hunter is not liable for indirect loss, or for loss caused by venue information, bookings with third parties or your own choices on a hunt. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Changes

We may update these terms. When the change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If we can't settle a disagreement together, the courts of Belgium decide, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts.
